Born in New York’s St. Nicholas Housing Projects in Harlem, and raised in the South Bronx, Rev. Hardy attended the NYC public school system from elementary through high school.
He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Arts from the New York Institute of Technology (Old Westbury, NY); Master of Divinity from the New Brunswick Theological Seminary (New Brunswick, NJ); and completed one year of his Doctor of Ministry at the Morehouse School of Religion at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia—for which he received National Academic Recognition on the Chancellor’s List and was inducted into The International Society of Theta Phi.

He is listed in Who’s Who in America with over 1 million of the most distinguished professionals from around the world.
Rev. Hardy has worked as: Public Relations Director of Operation Y.E.S. (Youth Empowered to Succeed) at Harvest Ministries (Brooklyn, NY); Production Assistant in NY Media at: WNET-Channel 13, WLTW LITE-FM, WOR-AM; and Community Relations Manager for Odyssey—a national interfaith cable-TV network, which is now the Hallmark Channel.
Rev. Hardy served for 2 years as Interim Pastor at the First Baptist Church in Costa Rica, Central America; for 7 years as an Associate Minister at the historic Walker Memorial Baptist Church, Bronx, NY, where the Rev. Dr. Joe Albert Bush, Sr. is pastor; and for 4 years as the first African American pastor in the 148-year history of the former First Baptist Church of Port Jefferson, NY. Rev. Hardy served as Pastor of the Union Temple Freewill Baptist Church of New Haven, CT for 12 years.
Rev. Hardy was licensed to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ in December 1992 at the Ebenezer Baptist Church (Bronx, NY), ordained in June 2010 by the American Baptist Churches USA, and preaches regularly throughout the tri-state area.
