Tag Sale and Community Market Renter Agreement

Winthrop Baptist Church will host a Tag Sale and Community Market on Saturday, June 4 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. A limited number of spaces are available for rental. The Tag Sale and Community Market is on Saturday, June 4 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There is a rain date of Saturday, June 11. If the event is canceled, all rental fees will be refunded.

Event Dates, Times, and Deadlines

The chart below outlines all related event times and dates:

  • Rental Space Reservations due by midnight on Saturday, May 28
  • Rental Space Fees due by midnight on Saturday, May 28
  • The Tag Sale and Community Market is on Saturday, June 4. It opens to shoppers at 8 a.m. and closes at 2 p.m.
  • Renters may begin setting up their spaces at 5 a.m. on Saturday, June 4. Spaces must be taken down within two hours of the end of the sale. No exceptions will be made.

Important Information about Rental Spaces

Rental spaces are available for reservation on a first-come, first-served basis. A limited number of spaces are available. 10′ x 10′ spaces and 20′ x 20′ spaces are available. Specific spaces are not guaranteed. Those renting multiple spaces are not guaranteed to have adjoining or side-by-side spaces (although we will do our absolute best to accommodate when possible). Renters must bring their own tables, tents, shade, etc. Power may not be available and is not guaranteed. No generators will be permitted. Personal vehicles will be allowed on the lawn for loading and unloading only. No trailers or U-Hauls will be permitted on the lawn during sale hours. The Church reserves the right to refuse a rental space request.

At the end of the sale, renters are responsible for removing all trash, personal property, and unsold items from their space. No trash removal will be available.

Rental Space Sizes, Prices, and Payment

Two sizes of rental spaces will be available. Spaces are limited.

  • 10′ x 10′ (10 feet by 10 feet): $15
  • 20′ x 20′ (20 feet by 20 feet): $30

Payments must be made no later than Saturday, May 28. Reservations for any space will be forfeited if payment is not received by that date. Payments may be made by cash or check, either by mail or dropped off at the Church. Checks should be made payable to Winthrop Baptist Church. Please include “Reservation Payment” in the notes field. If the check is not in the name of the person who reserved the space, please include the renter’s name as well. There is a mailbox slot on the east side of the building where payments may also be left. Mailed payments should be sent to Winthrop Baptist Church, 444 Winthrop Road, Deep River, CT 06417.
